The wait is over — Big Brother Naija Season 11 has crowned its first Head of House, and it’s Chimsom Chuka who claims the coveted title in the show’s opening week.
Chimsom Chuka Wins Week 1 HOH
Chimsom Chuka, the 27-year-old pharmacist and actor from Anambra State, posted the best time among the male housemates in the first HOH challenge. That result alone would have made him the top male performer, but Chimsom went a step further, recording the best overall time in the entire house to claim the season’s first Head of House title outright.
Chimsom didn’t hide his intentions coming into the house, admitting he found past seasons of BBNaija boring and fake and that he came in determined to live loud and have fun. That same energy appears to have carried him straight into the season’s first major win.
As HOH, Chimsom now enjoys immunity from this week’s eviction, a say in how nominations play out, and access to the HOH lounge — a welcome upgrade after just days in the house.
Abi Becomes Deputy Head of House
Abi, the 25-year-old chef and model from Osun State, posted the best time among the female housemates in the same challenge, earning her the Deputy Head of House title. Her arrival in the house already sparked plenty of conversation after she revealed she’s married, and now she steps into a position of real influence early in the game, backing up Chimsom for the week.

What This Means for Week 1
With Chimsom and Abi now holding power heading into nominations, all eyes turn to how the pair will use their influence — and whether their standing as the house’s top performers this week shapes early alliances. Housemates will be watching closely to see who lands in the firing line for this week’s eviction shortlist.
Stay tuned as we bring you live updates on nominations, tasks, and all the drama unfolding inside Biggie’s house this week.
